BASIC JOB DUTIES
 

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, installations, modifications, and repairs to HVAC commercial and residential equipment

• Keep the customer informed of what you are doing when you are doing it, and how it will be done

• Maintain the required equipment and inventory in the truck for maximum efficiency

• Perform system diagnostics, gather replacement part(s), generate estimate(s), and clearly explain the nature of the immediate issues so that the customer clearly understands what is required to correct the problem(s).

• Perform technical repairs with precision under deadlines and in a timely fashion

• Identify and proactively respond to potential opportunities related to cautionary equipment issues, system enhancement upgrades, maintenance agreements, and equipment replacements.

• Work as a team to meet our company goals and satisfy customers

• Communicate with office on job status

• Obtain pre and post documentation of equipment make, model, serial, system type, diagnostic measurements, and photos etc.

• Be well-versed in our Company’s service software and flat rate pricing options. Understand how to create estimates, complete forms, take payments, and obtain electronic signatures.

• Join the on-call rotation and respond to emergency service requests

• Conduct assigned daily job requirements with the utmost safety, quality, and productivity in mind.

• Responsible for skilled use of tools, equipment, and materials pertinent to the HVAC trade.

• Keeps tools and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.

• Has and maintains proper use of all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.

• Familiarizes self with project task safety plans, documentation, practices and procedures and executes them during the work day.

• Clean and clear the work area after job has been completed.

• Exhibit professional conduct at all times, whether at the job site or driving company vehicles.

• Understanding, recognizing and complying with OSHA safety regulations.
   

JOB REQUIREMENTS
 

• Minimum 5 years of experience

• Driver's License

• Own work boots (steel/reinforced toe optional)

• Own hand tools

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test

• Lift at least 50 pounds without assistance

• The physical ability to work in tight spaces

• The physical ability to work on a pitched roof

• The physical ability to go up and down ladders multiple times per day
