We are looking for a Plumbing Estimator for new construction, commercial improvements, residential remodels, process piping, gas piping and light industrial work.

The Basic Job Duties
-
Analyze blueprints and job specifications
-
Perform material take offs and pricing
-
Order material and coordinate delivery to jobsites
-
Be able to perform job closeouts such as as-builts and gathering operations manuals for clients
-
Maintains contacts with customer personnel to identify plans and get on bid lists
-
Meets and collaborates with clients, engineers, and other staff to understand the projects being proposed including technical, schedule and budgetary expectations
-
Identifies deficiencies in customer plans, develops solutions and notifies the customer
-
Determines or Designs Equipment Locations
-
Designs modifications to existing systems to achieve efficient operation

Creates Estimates for Jobs:
-
Walks Job Sites to understand Work Scope
-
Obtains drawings for projects, reviews requirements for the job and creates a take-off list of materials and tasks to be performed

Reviews ALL conditions, stipulations and requirements identified by the customer for inclusion in the bid
-
Reviews plans and specifications for new construction to determine compatibility with existing equipment or acceptability of design

Determines the appropriate Equipment to be Ordered
-
Identifies cost of Specific Equipment and Material for the job
-
Identify Supply House Costs for Unusual Material Requirements making notes of conversations and personnel spoken with (with phone numbers) for subsequent ordering of materials

Identifies the labor required for the job
-
Identifies outside services cost (subcontractors, equipment rental, permits, etc) for the job
-
Reviews and analyzes existing and proposed processes, personnel, and materials
-
Assign daily job requirements with the utmost safety, quality, and productivity in mind.

Exhibit professional conduct at all times, whether at the job site or driving company vehicles.

Understanding, recognizing and complying with OSHA safety regulations
The Job Requirements
-
Display proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Outlook, Excel, and Word
-
Have an advance understanding of the Plumbing industry and Local/National Codes and Standards for Plumbing systems
-
Minimum 5 years of experience
-
Clean driving record
-
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
-
Lift at least 50 pounds without assistance
